How Your Support Makes a Difference
The Treatment Alex Needs
Alex has been accepted into a cutting-edge treatment program at Immunocine in Cancún, Mexico. This personalized immunotherapy gives real hope even for stage 4 patients like Alex, when standard treatments have reached their limits.
The Hope It Offers
Double Loaded dendritic cell technology has shown incredible success rates, with up to 90% effectiveness in patients who qualify. For Alex, this treatment represents his greatest chance for healing and long-term survival.
How It Works
Immunocine uses Alex’s own immune system, applying their proprietary Double Loaded dendritic cell technology. This approach helps train Alex’s immune system to recognize and fight his cancer directly, giving his body the best chance to attack and destroy the cancer cells.
Why It’s So Expensive
Because this therapy is not yet widely available in the U.S., Alex must receive treatment in Cancun, Mexico. The cost includes:
- Complex lab processing of his immune cells
- Multiple rounds of personalized infusions
- Specialized medical staff, equipment, and facilities
- International travel, extended stay, and follow-up care
The full treatment plan will cost the Stepanek family over $100,000.
